THE HEALING AND TRANSFORMING POWER OF VOCAL SOUND

We are all singers. It matters not how we sing, just that we do.

Did you know that your voice is a built-in tool for healing? And that healing and forgiveness are synonymous and both are necessary in order to move you out of the head and into the heart? So what exactly is Toning? Toning is the use of the voice to express sounds for the purpose of release and relief. It is nonverbal sound. Sighing, moaning and humming are also forms of Toning. Toning is the use of the voice to express sounds for the purpose of release and allows the natural flow of energy to move through one’s body. Toning is a technique that relieves mental stress by immediately returning the brainwaves to a state of alpha. Toning creates links to our personal and collective identities in order to become our true authentic selves. The voice is the muscle of the soul.
Now let’s move past words into the pureness of sound itself. Having a good singing voice is simply not important nor is it a requirement. Purity of vocal sound is an honest desire to connect to one’s Higher Self and/or Divinity. Toning is letting out sound as a release (fear, guilt and/or physical pain), as a statement to the Universe for freedom and for the gift of being in-the-moment. Toning is also for chakric alignment, a rich clarity and a sense of balance. See the ‘big picture’ of your life and create what you truly desire, supporting it with hopeful and positive intention. Trust your knowingness. You are an intuitive being and your highest intuition can develop and come through toning! Whale

This piece was channeled and put together intuitively in the Pacific Islands and insisted on going home with me by making me seasick when I held it. None of the other 30 people had such a reaction so I knew it was mine. The bottom is made from a whale's spinal disk, a dolphin's rib, various stones and a 5 point Brazilian crystal. There is a gorgeous story between me and the whale that occurred in another lifetime where the whale used to swim alongside the boat I was paddling and when she gave birth in the laguna, I was the only one she let close. I call her GWALE.
